Finishing the month on a high note, as of June 30, Medina Lake is at 100 percent capacity. At 1,064.31 ft., the water level has reached its peak, according to Water Data for Texas.
One year ago, on July 1, 2018, the lake was at 1,040.19 feet, or 52.2 percent capacity. The county’s drought condition is holding steady, with no restrictions in effect for residents. The National Weather Service predicts a 30 percent chance of rain today, with the possibility decreasing by Thursday.
