Spirits Of Texas, Bandera loud and proud

By Jessica Goode
The Bandera Prophet

Locally owned, operated, stocked and maintained, Spirits of Texas features only merchandise made in the Lone Star State. From jewelry to jam and books to bowls, owner Nancy Lyons-Harvey has stocked the Bandera store with a variety of artisans' wares and one-of-a-kind items.
Harvey, who comes from a long line of native Texans, opened her shop on the premise that everything in it be made by a Texan. She features many gifts hand-crafted by Bandera artists, as well as people across the state. One of her goals is to help create a collaborative effort among all Bandera businesses, sharing and spreading the creative energy that flows through downtown and beyond.
"I want to help keep Bandera the great place that it is," Harvey said.
Located at 1107 Cypress Street, Spirits of Texas is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Saturday, Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. For more information, call 830-522-3221, email [email protected] or go to https://spiritsoftex.com
