In front of a near capacity home crowd, the Bandera Lady Bulldogs varsity volleyball team hosted Blanco at home Tuesday evening.
The visiting Lady Panthers took the match in three straight sets, 25-10, 25-20 and 25-17, to move Bandera to 6-3 on the season.
"We played tough against a very good Blanco team, but we had too many errors through each set, digging ourselves into a hole too many times. We are young and will get better. We have lots of potential, we just need to turn it into success," coach Sananda Molina said.
Madison Leal had nine blocks and Caillee Schroeder had 19 digs to lead Bandera in the second home match of the season.
Bandera will travel to Comfort on Friday and will host Jourdanton on Tuesday, Sept. 3.
