Tom McEachin announces for Bandera City Council
I am proud and humbled to announce my candidacy for re-election to the Bandera City Council. My name is Tom McEachin and four years ago I chose to make Bandera my home because I loved the personality of the community and our way of life.
I am committed to maintaining the heritage and tradition of our community, but making that happen takes people getting involved. That is why I stepped up a year and a half ago and was appointed to the Bandera Economic Development Corporation. Then last November I was elected to the City Council.
The city has made great progress in recent years, from lining up funding to secure safe drinking water to making services at City Hall more responsive to our residents, from making more of our businesses and attractions wheelchair accessible, to stylizing building facades to enhance our Western legacy.
There are many challenges ahead, however, particularly with the infrastructure, as well as working with businesses to boost tourism.
But I am up to the challenge. I listen, I fight for common sense solutions, I work well with others, and I don’t play favorites. In my time on City Council and the EDC, every decision I made was based on the best interest of our residents, our businesses, our visitors and our future.
I ask for your support on election day so we can keep working for Bandera’s future.
