Enterprise Product Partners has agreed to modify the proposed pipeline project originally planned to transport crude oil across the sensitive Edwards Aquifer and Recharge Zone, according to Jeff Braun, spokesperson for the Bandera Canyonlands Alliance.
The BCA Oct. 12 meeting has been refocused to outline how the dialogue and public concern was effective in causing the company to reconsider the route as quickly as they did.
There will also be updates on the wastewater permit application for the youth camp in Tarpley, which is approaching its 60-day TCEQ deadline, and the impact on the growing aggregate industry in our area.
Attendance for the public meeting does not require an RSVP, but advance notice would be helpful so that plans can be made to accommodate everyone. Leave a message at [email protected]. The meeting will begin at 10 a.m., at the Sabinal Senior Center in Utopia.
