Christmas in Medina

Dig out your ugly Christmas sweaters because on Saturday, Dec. 14, the judging will begin. From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., the Medina Community Library will accept shirts, sweatshirts and sweaters - bought or hand-decorated - for the Ugly Christmas Sweater contest. Officials will also collect entries for the Baked Goods contest at the same time.
On Sunday, Dec. 15, following singing at the Nativity by the Apple Store, carolers will make their way to the library, where winners of the contests will be announced. The celebration will continue across the street with a Christmas open house at the Apple Core. Everyone is invited to attend the community event, and asked to bring a pot luck item.
