A tasty time at St. Christopher's

The Bandera Prophet

Not a seat was empty during Bandera's annual Tasting Tea event on Friday, hosted by The Women of St. Christopher's Episcopal Church.
Celebrating more than 30 years as a local Christmas event, this year's Tasting Tea featured food prepared by parish members and area restaurants. Appetizers, main entrees, a variety of salads, desserts and side dishes were served with holiday punch and, of course, tea.
Most guests attend annually to sample different foods and greet old friends, some of whom they haven't seen since last year's Tasting Tea.
Cookbooks containing the recipes for the many dishes served are available at the church, located on State Highway 173 North.
