New arrivals at the Medina Library

By Alison Harbour, Library Director
Special to the Prophet

Welcome to an exciting new way to enjoy the Medina Community Library! The library adds many new books, movies and CDs each year. As Acting Library Director, I'm proud to  show you the newest materials added to our collection each week.
Be among the first to know about our new arrivals. Of course, like everything else in the library, this service is free!
Please see three of this week's new titles below.

Children of Virtue and Vengeance
By Tomi Adeyemi
In Electronic Format
After battling the impossible, Zélie and Amari have finally succeeded in bringing magic back to the land of Orïsha. But the ritual was more powerful than they could've imagined, reigniting the powers of not only the maji, but of nobles with magic ancestry, too.
Now, Zélie struggles to unite the maji in an Orïsha where the enemy is just as powerful as they are.

Blue Moon: A Jack Reacher Novel
By Lee Child
Jack Reacher returns in a heart-racing new novel from Lee Child, creator of “today’s James Bond, a thriller hero we can’t get enough of” (Ken Follett).
In the next highly anticipated installment of Lee Child’s acclaimed suspense series, Jack Reacher comes to the aid of an elderly couple . . . and confronts his most dangerous opponents yet.

Starsight (Skyward)
By Brandon Sanderson

From the bestselling author of the Reckoners series, Words of Radiance, the Mistborn trilogy, and the Stormlight Archive comes the second book in an epic series about a girl with a secret in a dangerous world at war for humanity's future.
All her life, Spensa has dreamed of becoming a pilot. Of proving she's a hero like her father. She made it to the sky, but the truths she learned about her father were crushing. The rumors of his cowardice are true--he deserted his flight during battle against the Krell.
