Happy Trails from CowboyCapital Trailriders
By Jeanne Beauxbeannes, CCTRA President
Special to the Prophet
The Cowboy Capital Trailriders Association invite one and all for their annual “warmup ride,” Jan. 11, in preparation for upcoming week long ride to San Antonio Feb. 1-7.
The warmup ride will begin at Mansfield park on Friday, Jan. 10, with registration. Proof of negative coggins required. On Saturday, Jan. 11, the ride out begins at 9 a.m. The trail will go through Schmidtke Road into Bandera to TJs Old Forge for lunch and return to Mansfield park. So get your tack oiled and saddle up and ride with us. Until then… Happy Trails
The CCTRA celebrated its 50th year in 2019 and will hit the trail for the annual week-long ride to the San Antonio Livestock Show and Rodeo, this year Feb. 1 - 7. Trailboss Don Malicoat invites one and all to come ride the “Backroads of Bandera” to San Antonio.
We are extremely proud of our CCTRA Queen Jaelyn Gonzales and her court who represent the youth of our club and have donated their time and efforts in our community. Our sincere appreciation to our sponsors which make it possible for us to have safe night camps and delicious meals. Come by camp and enjoy the warmth of our fire and the tales of the trails.
