Bandera's Lady Bulldogs Powerlifting team finished in a three-way tie for third place overall along with San Antonio Brooks Academy and Navarro at the Holy Cross Invitational over the weekend.
The trio were just two points behind Center Point and Randolph, who were tied for first.
The meet was the final chance for the girls to qualify for the regional meet.
Bandera results:

"Several of the girls hit new personal records at the meet.  Already qualifed for the regional meet on March 6 are Watson, Kimberly Salinas, Kylee Hensley, Penelope Garcia, and Freeman.

Hensley and Freeman both hit the state qualifying weight at Holy Cross, but it must be done at the Regional meet in order to advance," coach Manny Martinez said.
