Linda Richards, 64, of Bandera, passed away on Feb. 21, 2020, in Bandera. She was born in San Antonio to Emma and Elmer Meuth on Nov. 18, 1955.
She was widowed by Rodney Cockrell.
Linda loved her job and the people she delivered to. She worked as a mail carrier at Pipe Creek Post Office for over 20 years. Linda is preceded in death by her husband Rodney Cockrell; her brother Glen Meuth; and her father Elmer Meuth.
Linda is survived by her children Gary Richards, Melin Richards and Christi Waid; sister Mary Hillyard; brothers Gary Meuth, Greg Meuth and Grant Meuth; her mother Emma Meuth; and grand children Christina Richards, Chelsey Richards, Rion Anderson, Riley Weissman, Taylor Clark and Fiona Waid.
A Memorial Service will be held at Grimes Funeral Chapels of Bandera, on Sunday, March 8, at 3 p.m., and will be officiated by Daryl Cheswick.
