Elmer Perry, 71, of Bandera, passed away on April 7, 2020 surrounded by his loving family at his home in Bandera.
He was born in Durango, Colorado, to Wayne and Elnora Perry on Nov. 9, 1948. He married Linda Perry on March 16, 1968 in Bloomfield, New Mexico.
He spent his high school years in Blanding, Utah and Bloomfield, New Mexico. Following graduation from Blanding High School, Elmer served six years in the National Guard. Elmer’s 30-year career in the oil and gas industry began with El Paso Natural Gas. After 15 years, Elmer transitioned into his own company, Bighorn Production Services, and wrapped up his career as a well-respected pipeline consultant in New Mexico and Texas. He truly loved hunting and fishing, watching Michael calf rope, and hanging out with Mickenzi and great-grandson, Lincoln.
Elmer in preceded in death by his parents Wayne and Elnora Perry.
Elmer is survived by his wife Linda Perry. He is also survived by his children Ricky Perry, Mickey Perry and wife Charlotte Perry; brothers and sisters Sheron Farrow, Mark Perry, Susan Perry; grandchildren Michael and his girlfriend Courtney Flach, and Mickenzi Perry; and great-grandchild Lincoln Perry.
