Bandera senior Kristin Salas has made a verbal commitment to continue her education and play basketball at McMurry University in Abilene.
Salas, who is also an All-American cheerleader, played guard for the Lady Bulldogs, averaged just under 10 points, 3.3 assists and 4.8 boards per game in her senior campaign.
She was one of two Lady Bulldogs to represent Bandera in the annual Chicken Express All-Star game in Kerrville that showcases seniors from local area high schools.
Due to current restrictions, Salas hasn't signed her Letter of Intent, but that will happen soon.
