Spring Sports
The scoreboards were dim but the stadiums were ablaze as Bandera ISD honored the student-athletes in spring sports with a Senior Night Lights celebration on Thursday.
Lights were turned on in each stadium to coincide with a video release featuring seniors from each sport on Youtube.
During the 90-minute ceremony, sports recognized were: baseball, golf, powerlifting, soccer, softball, tennis and track.
Medina
Cross-Country
Planning ahead, Medina ISD Athletic Director, Cully Doyle, has released tentative hosting dates for the 2020 Bobcats Cross-Country season.
The dates are:
Aug. 15: High School only, relay style,
Aug. 26: Middle School only (after school),
Sept. 16: Middle School only (after school)
Sept. 26: High School and Middle school
"More detailed information will be coming very soon. I just wanted to make sure these dates are out there so everyone can plan ahead.
Good luck to everyone and I am excited about hosting again this year," Doyle said.
Medina hosted its first relay style meet to open last season at the Arms of Hope campus and although the turnout was limited, all of the schools in attendance said they would like to return if it was done again.
