City grosses $7,000 in park admissions over Mother’s Day weekend

During a brief special meeting this morning, Bandera City Council members approved Langford Community Management Services to serve as grant administrator for the GLO CDBG-MIT (General Land Office Community Development Block Grant Mitigation).
The Texas GLO is administering $4,297,189,000 in U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) CDBG-MIT funds.
According to GLO, the funds “will be used to build and implement structural and non-structural projects, programs and partnerships throughout the state of Texas that reduce the risks and impacts of future natural disasters.”
In other business, Bandera City Administrator J Horry said the city grossed $7,000 from park admissions over Mother’s Day weekend.
The next Bandera City Council meeting will be May 20, at 9 a.m. The regular meeting set for May 21 is cancelled.
