He also holds a superintendent’s certification and a principal’s certification, as well as certifications in physical education, secondary speech communications and special education. Neuman and his wife, Tammy, have five children. Mrs. Neuman is an administrator in Hondo ISD, and their oldest daughter is an educator in Hondo ISD.
“I am looking forward to returning to Bandera ISD,” Neuman said.
"We are very pleased to have Michael Neuman join the Bandera ISD family as our Chief Financial Officer.  Not only does Mr. Neuman bring a strong set of experiences, he is also familiar with our community.  Additionally, he understands the very complex Texas school finance system.  As a former teacher and principal, Mr. Neuman understands what it's like to work in the trenches of public education.  He will be a tremendous addition to our team,” Bandera ISD superintendent Dr. Jerry Hollingsworth said.
