Pipe Creek Christian School honors first graduate

By Vicki L. George
The Bandera Prophet

Anthony Lawrence Cortez had the honor of being the first student to graduate from Pipe Creek Christian School. He received his diploma in a small ceremony at the school on Friday, May 22. His proud parents are Larry and Mary Cortez of Bandera.
The school first opened its doors in August 2000 with one administrator, one teacher and eight students in elementary and middle school classes. In more recent years, the students were allowed to continue their education as they were promoted to the next grade level. Anthony first attended the school in the fifth grade and has completed eight years there.
The school is pleased with Anthony’s growth and maturity. They congratulate him and wish him success in life.
The school is currently accepting registrations for the upcoming school year at all grade levels. Parents are invited to stop by the school at 1990 FM 1283 or call for more information at 830-510-6131. The registration forms are on their website at pipecreekchristianschool.org and may be printed, filled out and taken to the school.
