Cross-Country
Another 2020 Bandera High School graduate signed her National Letter of Intent this past Thursday when Jordan Edwards committed to run cross-country and track for Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene.
Edwards was a three year member of the Lady Bulldog cross-country squad, including the 2017 4A state championship team.
She also ran track and played soccer for four years and was on the freshman basketball team.

Bandera High School joined scores of other Texas public high schools this past Monday with the start of the 2020 Strength and Conditioning Camp along with Sports Specific Instruction.
Boys will work out at BHS and girls will convene at Bandera Middle School.
TAPPS and private schools were allowed to start a week earlier but all others had to wait a week later per the University Interscholatic League (UIL).
Athletes will have their temperature taken every day, must bring their own water or sports drink as the UIL says the schools can’t provide either, can’t use lockers or "hang out" after the workouts. They must complete a CoVid-19 weekly pre-screen as well.
Camp will continue until July 29 except for UIL "dead dates" of July 3, 7, 8, 20 and 21, when facilities must remain closed.
