Pipe Creek Christian School receives donation from True Value Hardware

By Vicki L. George
The Bandera Prophet

The Pipe Creek Christian School had a need and it was graciously supplied by Johnny Boyle, who owns Lakehills True Value and Boyle’s Bandera Hardware Stores.
Changing the marquee in front of the school, located at 1990 FM 1283, was a risky proposition with the old eight-foot step ladder. Seeing the need for something safer, Boyle donated a new 12-foot step ladder. Now the marquee can be changed easily and safely.
The entire school is grateful to Boyle for his generosity and support.
The school first opened its doors in August 2000 with one administrator, one teacher and eight students in elementary and middle school classes. Now the students are able to continue their education as they are promoted to the next grade level.
The school offers daily Bible study as well as all academic studies, with non-denominational Christian curricula. The tuition is affordable and includes after school care. In addition, the school is accredited through the Association of Christian Schools International.
Their inspiring statement is from Psalm 127:3, “Children are a gift from the Lord: they are a reward from Him.”
The school encourages shoppers to visit New Life Retail, the thrift store next door to the school. All the store proceeds benefit the school.
The school is currently accepting registrations for the upcoming school year at all grade levels. The applications can be found online at pipecreekchristianschool.org. The forms can be printed, filled out and taken to the school. Parents are invited to call for more information at 830-510-6131.
