Volleyball
The Lady Bulldogs headed to Lytle on Friday to take on the Lady Pirates in their first regular match of the season.
The JV team lost their match by a 2-1 count and the varsity won in straight sets, 3-0.
No stats were made available.
Bandera's home debut will be Tuesday against the Hondo Lady Owls.
Although Bandera's previous scrimmages and a dual match were played in front of empty stands, BISD is currently trying to figure out what their attendance policy will be for home matches. A decision should be available soon according to BISD Athletic Director, Joel Fontenot-Amedee.
Tennis
With Team Tennis season getting ready to start, Head Coach Ginger Frye says that anyone interested in playing tennis this year will need to have a parent at the virtual meeting on Thursday, Aug. 20, at 7 p.m.
