Bandera County mask exemption approved

The state has granted a mask exemption for Bandera County. Judge Richard Evans applied for the exemption last month, after the county maintained less than 20 active cases for more than 30 days,
The approval exempts Bandera County from the governor’s executive order mandating masks in all public places.
According to the Texas Department of State Health Services Region 8 officials, as of Tuesday, Sept. 8, Bandera County had zero active Covid cases and 113 recovered.
