Freshman Football
The combination of Dylan Gherman to Alex Dirck clicked in the second half, scoring two passing touchdowns, one of 75 yards and the other good for 65 yards, in a 28-12 loss as the Bulldog all freshman team continued to show improvement.
The Owls jumped to a 28 point lead in the first half, but halftime adjustments allowed Bandera to play shutout football in the second half as  Bulldogs on both sides of the ball contributed to make the score respectable.
Coaches noted that the defensive line dominated the line of scrimmage in the second half, thanks to the play of AJ Cruz, Alex Dirck, Roger McCrobie, Carson Power and LB, Erik Straeter.
The 0-2-2 Bulldogs will host the Pearsall Mavericks this Thursday and somebodies 0 must go.
The winless Mavericks are coming off a 41-6 loss to Devine and this is the last game of the season, so come out and see the future of Bulldog Football. Kickoff will be at 5:30 p.m.

BMS Cross Country
The BMS Cross-Country teams travelled to Lago Vista last week to compete in their district meet and brought home three team medals, two golds and a bronze.
The seventh grade girls and the eighth grade boys teams won gold and the eighth grade girls won bronze.
Individual times and standings were not available.

Volleyball
The District 28 -4A third place Lady Bulldogs took on the District 27-4A runners up, the Navarro Lady Panthers, on Thursday at Boerne High School in a neutral site first round playoff game.
The Lady Bulldogs lost the first two sets, 20-25 and 16-25 before finding a spark in the third set with a 25-20 win. The Lady Panthers took the fourth set, 25-16, to close out the match and move to a second round showdown against District 26-4A champ, Sinton in Goliad, Tuesday.
Bandera finishes the season 8-11 overall and 5-4 in district.
No stats were made available.
