The Bandera Prophet
“Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise; give thanks to Him and praise His name. For the Lord is good and His love endures forever; His faithfulness continues through all generations.” Psalm 100: 4-5
Our current Thanksgiving holiday commemorates the harvest festival celebrated by our Pilgrim forefathers in 1621. It was based on Sukkot, Feast of Tabernacles, from the Bible in Exodus 34:22. It is a day of giving thanks for the blessings of the previous year.
The Bandera Prophet wishes to start a county-wide church listing page. We are beginning with our East End but we invite all places of worship in Bandera County to send their information to the Prophet for inclusion. We do not want to leave anyone out!
The Prophet wishes everyone a blessed Thanksgiving!
