Though a few rules will have to be followed, which have become commonplace this year, the Bandera Business Association is moving forward with plans for its annual Christmas parade. Set for Saturday, Dec. 5, the holiday procession follows Bandera’s 40th annual Shopper’s Jubilee, which begins Friday, Dec. 4, and will extend to Saturday afternoon.
The deadline is approaching to enter the parade. All applications must be received by Wednesday, Nov. 25. Entry is free. Line up will begin at 9 a.m., at the City Park on Maple Street. Judging will begin at 10:30 a.m. sharp, and floats will leave City Park at 10:45 a.m. The parade will proceed down Main Street to Lowe’s.
Groups must be less than 10 people, and stay six feet apart. Face masks are required, and no candy, items nor food may be distributed.
On Friday, the Shoppers Jubilee will begin at 4:30 p.m. It will continue until Saturday, at 2:30 p.m.
