Best Western Bandera Suites & Saloon hosts grand opening on Tuesday

By Jessica Nohealapa’ahi
The Bandera Prophet

A day-long grand opening extravaganza is set for tomorrow at the Best Western on Main Street, Bandera. Not just your average ribbon cutting, hours of activities from guided tours, live Old West reenactments, and a presentation of the History of Bandera by the Frontier Times Museum will keep guests entertained from noon until 5 p.m.
Officially open for lodging in January, the hotel quickly sold out for February’s Mardi Gras events and last month’s Thunder in the Hill Country biker rally. Each room features refrigerators and microwaves, high-speed internet, and Covid specific sanitizing. Other amenities include onsite guest laundry, a fitness room, business center, a full hot breakfast, saloon and meal service.
The hotel is at 711 Main Street. Look for Bandera’s famous Longhorn Redneck.
