Baseball
Bulldog Baseball is still hunting that first win of the season and they had a good shot last week, taking on Comal Davenport.
The Wolves opened up the first inning with a three run effort and the Bulldogs responded, scoring two runs to keep it close.
Davenport added a single run in the second and two more in the sixth to win the game, 6-2.
Bandera's struggles in the field continue with the linescore showing nine charged errors against the Bulldogs.
Michael Wilson, on the mound for Bandera, had seven strikeouts in seven innings of work.
Late Breaking
Bandera lost a 9-1 decision to Canyon Lake Tuesday night.

Soccer
Girls

District 28-4A released their superlatives list for All- District and numerous Lady Bulldog players were recognized for their excellence in the classroom and on the field.

Softball
Wimberley

Even though the Lady Bulldog connected for 17 hits over seven innings, the Wimberley Lady Texans scored 18 runs in the first three innings, handing Bandera a 20-11 loss last week.
Bandera's Cami Chesler recorded three hits and April Rodriguez had four RBI's in the loss.
The Lady Bulldogs fall to 2-5 in district with three games left until the playoffs.
Davenport
Aubrey Mangold had three hits and two RBI's in Bandera's 4-3 loss to Davenport last night.
With the game knotted up at 2-2 in the fourth, the Lady Bulldogs added another score in the bottom of the fifth inning to keep the Lady Wolves at bay.
Davenport added two runs in the top of the sixth to
take the win, 4-3, and drop Bandera to 2-6 in district.
April Rodriguez and Cailin Ortiz shared duties on the mound for Bandera with Rodriguez pitching six innings and recording five K's in the loss.

Tennis

It turned out to be another successful outing for the team with lots of wins and several medals coming home as Bulldog Tennis traveled to Somerset for the last invitational of the season this past Friday.    Silver medals were earned by the Varsity Mixed Doubles team of Christian McKnelly and Amberly Patterson, JV Girls Doubles team of Addy Allen and Zoe Servantes and JV Girls Singles Skylar Gunn.
The big winner of the day was JV Boys Singles player, Luke Polanco, who brought home gold.
District will be next week in Fredericksburg, Monday and Tuesday for the varsity Thursday and Friday for JV.

Track
Bandera's JV Track teams ran their district meet in  Fredericksburg last Wednesday and Thursday along with the varsity events reported on last week. The Lady Bulldogs finished fourth with the Bulldogs ending up in sixth.
