On Thursday, April 29, Bandera County will host a Covid-19 vaccine clinic at the Silver Sage. Emergency Management Coordinator Carey Reed told commissioners on Tuesday about 100 Moderna shots are available to the general public.
Reed said most people in Group 1B - those over 65 who were the final priority group - have been vaccinated. She said 1,500 people were left on the sign-up list, all of whom have been called.
About 400 people neither answered nor called back, Reed said, adding the assumption is if they were interested, they would have called. Anyone over 18 who wants the vaccine may schedule a time or walk in and wait on standby.
