CCPAL 2021 Pet Parade Results

The CCPAL (Cowboy Capital Pet Assistance League) held its annual Pet Parade in the Bandera City Park on Sunday, July 4.
The winners are as follows:
                                     
Best of Show –  Duchess and Elsa (Scotties) from the Movie “Coco” – Shown by Roxane Deluna of Boerne

Most Creative – Jolene (Chow chow) dressed as Annie Oakely – Shown by Joyce Hayes of Dripping Springs

Star-Spangled – 1st Place: Goonie – English Bulldog – Rescued from Lizzy’s Animal Hospice – Shown by Karen Cole of Dripping Springs

2nd Place: Baby Girl (Yorkie/Cairn Terrier) – Rescued from Doggies R Us. Shown by Bonnie Kelley of Bandera

3rd Place: Sandy and Pee-Wee (Chihuaha) – Shown by Brent and Mary Beth Ralla of San Antonio

Best of the Wild West – 1st Place: Bug (the Pug) – shown by Jett Lipka of Center Point

2nd Place: Diesel (Great Dane) – Shown by Lela Davis of Comfort

2nd Place: Denver Mastin (White Golden Retriever) Service Dog of 14 years and retired yesterday – Shown by Angel Mastin of Bandera

3rd Place: Beau (Dachund) – Shown by David Sixt of San Antonio

Most Original Pet – 1st Place: Allison (Lemur) Primate Exotic – Shown by Mark Anders of Bandera

2nd Place: Echo and Blake Shelton (Anatolian Shepherds) Dressed like Lion King - Both are rescues from National Anatollian shepherd Rescue – Shown by Greg and Amanda White of Floresville

3rd Place: Daisy (Shetland Sheepdog) as UPS Driver and Halo (Malta-Friche) as Mail Carrier – Shown By Linda and Leanne of Bandera

Favorite Storybook Character – 1st Place: Eddy, Penny, Bella and Cooper (Mutt, two Labs and English Sheep Dog) - Rudolph Red Nosed Reindeer story – Shown by Mary Lou, Natalya, Kay, Kayla and Rainey of Pipe Creek

2nd Place: Daisy (Boxer mix) as The Queen of Hearts – Shown by Dawn Paterson of Dripping Springs
