AAU Junior Olympics

Incoming Bandera High School senior Hannah Edwards will be at the 2021 AAU Junior Olympic Games taking place in Humble the next two weekends.
Edwards is entered in the Heptahalon this weekend and will return next Friday for the individual Javelin competition.
The Heptathalon consists of seven different events encompassing both track and field, and is scored cumulatively from each event with three different formulas for each category, running events (200, 800 and 100m hurdles), jumping (high and long) and throwing (shot and javelin).
Edwards placed fourth in the Heptathalon and third in the Javelin at the AAU Region 19 meet to qualify for this week's events.

Rodeo
Results from the Riding on Faith Summer Series from July 23 are in.
The rodeo will continue their weekly events at Mansfield Park Arena the next three Friday nights until the final on Aug. 13.
Gates open at 6 p.m., Exhibition Barrels at 7 p.m. and the Grand Entry is at 8 p.m.
