The Breast Run Ever planned for Halloween weekend

To help her warrior friend, fighting the battle of her life against breast cancer, Melinda Byrd with Buddy’s Water Well Service is co-hosting the Breast Run Ever - a 5k race for serious competitors, and a 2.5k race for everyone else.
Krystal Tripp has completed chemotherapy, and is now facing surgery. To support her, Byrd is organizing the Oct. 30 Halloween run with a twist. All participants are invited to dress in costume (nothing super scary) - and the top three costumes will receive a prize.
The 5k will begin at 9:30 a.m., on Saturday, Oct. 30, at 414 Bear Creek Road in Pipe Creek. The 2.5k will begin shortly after at 9:40 a.m. After the races, kids can jump in the bounce house while their parents grab lunch at one of the food trucks. Other activities, including music, are being planned.
All proceeds will go directly to Tripp and her three children.
Entry fees are $20 per person for the 5k; $10 per person for the Family 2.5k; $5 per person for spectator admission; kids 5 and under are free. T-shirts are available for $20, ordering deadline is Oct. 8.
Anyone interested in sponsoring the event may download the form on this page - $250, $500 and $1,000 sponsorships are available.
