Bulldog XC headed to Alamo Heights Thursday to participate in the Mules Invitational on a 5K course.
Girls
JV
The JV Lady Bulldogs took team gold in the six team, 58 runner field with 25 points, beating S.A. Johnson (52 points) and S.A. Lee (89), the other podium finishers.
Led by Jazlyn Dickerson in third place overall and Makayla Gonzales in fourth, the other three points scorers, Kierstin Brown, Mallorie Powell and Gabby Barrera all finished in the top ten.

Bandera’s Raelynn Butler and Hannah Edwards finished first and second as the Lady Bulldogs won team gold with 31 points, edging out S.A. Lee (37), Alamo Heights (72) and Seguin (83).
Butler was on a mission and was the only runner under the 20 minute mark for the 5K (3.2 mile) course.
Trinity Butler, Emily Presa and Carlye Niccum, the Lady Bulldogs other points scorers, finished in the top 14 spots to anchor the win.
Gracie Bankston and Danielle Gonzales finished in the top 20.

The JV Bulldogs finished on the podium in third place with 70 points, behind 6A S.A. Johnson (20) and 5A Alamo Heights (49).
Bandera’s top five were Jacob Haas in seventh with a 19:11, Logan Sadler in 11th, Ruben Ruiz-Palacios in 12th, Cody Jureczki in 19th and Ashton Robinson in 21st.
Also running for Bandera were Lane Timmons, Ben Adamietz, Nino Martinez, Logan Klappenbach and Kyle Moore.
Varsity
The Varsity Bulldogs won team silver with 60 points, sandwiched between Northside Clark (40) and S.A. Lee (69).
Braden Cox and Ethan Brown finished fourth and seventh respectively. Felix Diaz, Mariano Casas and Hudson Jackson also scored points for Bandera.
Mack Robinson fished in 27th and Reese Mazurek was 30th.

Cross Country Report
The Bandera Middle School cross country teams ended their season Monday at the district meet in Llano. While the rest of the district was enjoying a school holiday, the seventh grade girls’ team took first, the eighth grade girls were second.
The seventh grade boys had all four runners place in the top 10, but they did not have the required five runners to compete as a team.
Overall, 12 BMS athletes finished in the top 10 of their respective divisions.
Seventh grade girls: 3, Sydney Moore, 4, Merry Robinson, 5, Bailey Haas, 6, Cheyenne Cardenas
Seventh grade boys: 4, Jonah Klein, 5, Jaymin Klein, 6, Walter Roque, 7, Drew Sanders

The Medina Bobcats topped off Senior Night for football and cross-country with a 56-8 win over Prairie Lea Friday night at home.
No stats were made available.
Medina (2-4) will play Leakey (3-2) for Homecoming this week.
