Former Bulldog grad finishes the Boston Marathon

Dylan Stevens, a 2008 Bandera High School graduate, finished 141st in a field of 15,736 competitors and over 20,000 virtual runners in the 2021 Boston Marathon held Oct. 11.
Stevens ran the 26-mile, 385-yard distance on a 5:53 per mile pace to finish with a 2:34.18, the 125th man to finish and 115th in his division.
He improved his placement from the 2019 event by 240 places and wants to have a top 100 result in next year’s event.
There was no race last year and this year’s event was the 125th anniversary of the race.
