After back to back losses to Jourdanton, 46-44, and Blanco, 45-36, over the Thanksgiving break, the varsity Lady Bulldogs got on the winning track with wins against Poteet, 33-15, and Providence, 54-30 at the Poteet Tournament this past weekend.
A 53-29 win over Charlotte kept Bandera unbeaten to win their pool and earn a spot in the championship bracket where they suffered a 48-35 loss against Orange Grove.
The Lady Bulldogs girls teams will travel to Marion Tuesday to take on their Lady Bulldogs.

Eighth grade
The “A” team lost to Blanco, 18-16, in last week’s contest. Bandera started out strong and held the lead for the first three quarters, but fell into foul trouble in the fourth. Mackenzie Kennedy provided the offensive spark, scoring 8 points in the first half.
The “B” team lost to Blanco by a 15-12 score last Monday. The girls started out strong in the first quarter and the scoring was head to head up until the end. The Lady Bulldogs worked very hard on offense and did a good job communicating on defense.
Seventh grade
The “A” team came back from the Thanksgiving break in a great way. High scorer, Rehbehka Gomez, led the team to a convincing 29-6 victory over Blanco.
The entire team contributed on defense, allowing Blanco to score in just one quarter of the game.
