Kiwanis Club of Bandera accepting applications now for non-profit funding

By Kiwanis Club of Bandera

The Bandera Kiwanis Club hosts the Texas Hill Country Musicfest each year, raising funds for our scholarship fund and for notable and worthy non-profits in the area who help the community in various ways.
In the past, we have donated to the following organizations: Warriors Heart, Bandera Challenger Sports League, Angels All Around You, Alamo Breast Cancer Foundation, the Moonlight Fund, the Alzheimer’s Association and the Autism Community Network. This year they are looking to expand thier reach and donate to even more organizations in need of funding.
If you are involved in or know of a non-profit organization that could use funding for its yearly expenses or a special project coming up, please review the application, and return to a Kiwanis member by Dec. 23.
Please fill out application in its entirety, if any items are left blank, please give brief explanation of why this information isn’t available. Applications are due no later than Dec. 23 to a Kiwanis member by mail or email.
Organizations chosen for 2022 funding will be announced by Dec. 31, and will be featured on our advertising for the Texas Hill Country Musicfest held on March 12, 2022 in Bandera.
**There is no guarantee of specific amounts of funding awarded to each organization until after the annual event proceeds are collected and distributions are voted on by the club.
For more information, contact Melinda Byrd at 830-796-5726 or [email protected]; or Denise Griffin at 830-796-5472 or [email protected].
