Bethlehem Under the Stars this Friday and Saturday

Churches, families, and businesses from Lakehills, Pipe Creek, Mico and Bandera have joined together to provide a “Bethlehem Under the Stars” experience.
Costumed participants will give a peek into this memorable first century village. Wise men and their camels (yes, come take a picture with a live camel) are settled into their campsite on the way to Bethlehem. Pick up your coins to pay the tax collector as you come into town. Visit the Wood Shop, Food Market, Metal Shop and more. Take a look at the busy inn as you make your way to the stable to see the real animals and live nativity representing the birth of Jesus Christ. Find special treats to take home all through Bethlehem as you enjoy the sights and sounds.
Enjoy some refreshments with a neighbor, meet someone new, share an evening with your family and friends or come by yourself and soak it all in. Don’t forget to bring a warm jacket. The evening might be a bit chilly, but that’s part of the fun. After all, it’s Christmas time in Texas!
This free event runs for two nights, Friday and Saturday, Dec. 17 and 18, from 5:30-8:30 p.m., at the Lakehills Community Center.
The Lakehills Community Center is at 11225 PR 37, Lakehills.
