Fish Fry fundraiser helps children

By Vicki L. George
The Bandera Prophet

The Lakehills United Methodist Men held their annual Fish Fry to raise funds for the children of the Lakehills area, to provide Christmas gifts for those kiddos who would otherwise have none. Many church members prepared the food and stood in the heat to hand out meals to all who lined up to receive some delicious catfish with all the trimmings. The line was long. The church is grateful to the community.

The Bandera Prophet is grounded on the premise that relevant news delivery is ever-evolving. Founded by newspaper veterans, the Prophet,
