Bandera ProRodeo Association hosts Memorial Day Stampede Rodeos
Three nights of Professional Rodeo sanctioned rodeos are set to take place in the historic Mansfield Park Arena.
May 27-29, Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights, the gates will open at 6 p.m., followed by the Grand Entry starting at 8 p.m.
Continuing the festivities, on Saturday morning the annual Memorial Day parade will begin on Main Street, Bandera, at 11 a.m. Other features include Redneck the Longhorn, rides with Ron Dakota on his horse drawn wagon, Kelly Scott’s Chuck Wagon, entertainment and many arts and crafts vendors on the Bandera County courthouse lawn both Saturday and Sunday.
The Bandera Pro Rodeo Memorial Day Stampede Rodeo is the only PRCA rodeo of the year. Produced by RafterG Rodeo, the Stampede is a desired win for professional cowboys across the country.
Ticket prices are $12 for adults, and $6 for children ages 6-12. Active military, veterans with valid ID, and kids 5 years old and under are free.
