Bandera City Park was the venue for the annual Independence Day Bandera Pet Parade and this year marked the start of hopefully another 25-year run for the event.
In a departure from the norm, this 26th annual edition, featured not just dogs, it included lambs, goats and rabbits as well in six different categories for an large enthusiastic crowd.
The organizers would like to extend a special thanks to the Cowboy Capital Pet Assistance League, Inc., the judges and volunteers, and to the Barrel House Feed Store in Pipe Creek for donating the dog treats.
An extra special mention goes out to Joyce, who wishes to remain anonymous, that made and the donated the Doggie Gift Baskets and to Laurie and Sally Gibson, the announcers.
