Election Information

Early voting for the Nov. 8 election will begin Oct. 24 and continue through Nov. 4, Monday through Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Extended hours will be Tuesday, Oct. 25 and Nov. 1, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Early voting locations are at the Ray Mauer Annex, 403 12th Street, Bandera; the Lakehills Area Library, 7200 FM 1283, Lakehills; and at the Medina Annex, 161 E. Parker Street, Medina.
Election Day by precinct is Tuesday, Nov. 8, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

City of Bandera
For Mayor, the candidates are Rebeca Gibson and Cindy Coffey.
For City Council, candidates are Alan Calaway, Jeff Flowers, Toni Kunz and Lynn Hogan Palmer.

Bandera County
Bandera County offices on the ballot are for Judge, Richard Evans; District Clerk, Tammy Kneuper; County Clerk, Tandie Mansfield; County Treasurer, Beverly Schmidt; Commissioner Pct. 2, Greg Grothues; Commissioner Pct. 4, Jordan (Jody) Rutherford; Justice of the Peace, Pct. 1, Mike Towers; Justice of the Peace, Pct. 2, Gina Grothues; Justice of the Peace, Pct. 3, Randy J. Boysen; and Justice of the Peace, Pct. 4, Lynn D. Holt.

Medina ISD
The Medina Independent School District has three places open on its Board of Trustees. Those are Place 1, currently held by Beaux Cook; Place 4, currently held by Tony Watson; and Place 5, currently held by Jac McHaney.

Cancelled Elections
Bandera County River Authority and Groundwater District has cancelled its Board of Directors election, as none of the open seats are opposed.
Sitting in each Board Director position are Conrad Striegl, Pct. 1; Andrea King, Pct. 2; Melissa Checkovage, Pct. 3; Bruce Hayes, Pct. 3; Neil Boultinghouse, Pct. 4; and Rebeca Gibson, Member-at-Large.
Bandera Independent School District has also cancelled its Board of Trustees election, as none of its open seats are opposed.
Sitting in each open Board Trustee position are Casey Hauer, Place 1; Brittany Hicks, Place 5; Heidi Battle, Place 6; Greg Butler, Place 7.
