Hill Country Elementary students get into the Thanksgiving spirit
Hill Country Elementary Art Teacher Kathleen Bryant helped her students tap into the Thanksgiving spirit.
The pumpkin pies are drawn by 4th graders with oil pastels; the colorful turkeys are drawn by 3rd grader with oil pastels. Their assignment was to learn about implied texture on feathers.
The turkeys in space were painted with with watercolor and crayons by the 1st graders.
"We thought of a safe place for turkeys on Thanksgiving!" Bryant said.
