The library will be closed on Saturday, Dec. 31, and reopen Monday Jan. 2.
The Adult and Young Adult Winter Reading Challenge will continue until Feb. 28, 2023. Sign up and get your reading log by Jan. 4, 2023.

Ladies Christmas on Tuesday, Dec. 6, at 2 p.m. Guest Speakers include Julia Daily, Linda Barton and Colleen Nicholas. Music by Darlene Stevens.
Fun with Fiber, Wednesday, Dec. 7, at 2:15 p.m.
Kids Christmas Crafts and Bingo on Thursday, Dec. 8, at 4 p.m.
Homeschool Kinder on Friday, Dec. 9, at 10:30 a.m.
Hill Country Needlers will meet Monday, Dec, 12, at 10 a.m.
Medina Community Matters: Faith and Freedom, Monday, Dec. 12, 3-5:30 p.m.
Medina Quilters on Tuesday, Dec. 13, at 2 p.m.
Watercolor Classes for ages 9 and older, Jan. 11, 18, 25 and Feb. 1, 8 and 15. Please sign up at the library.
Other regular weekly events include free Chair Yoga, every Thursday at 1:15 p.m.; Yoga on Tuesdays at 8:45 a.m.; and story time for the little ones on Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m.

Free notary services are available, Monday and Thursday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The library’s mission is to provide access to the world of ideas and promote life-long learning. It also functions as a community hub—a place for the increasingly diverse population of western Bandera County to come together to share ideas, information, knowledge and experience.
In addition to occasional special public programs the library itself sponsors relating to topics of local interest (past programs have ranged from archaeology to digital photography to rainwater harvesting), it also hosts a variety of meetings, events and activities sponsored by other community groups.
