No reports from the weekly high school games were received, but we do have a photo gallery from both the girl's freshman/JV combined, and the varsity home contests against Llano.
Both Lady Bulldogs teams won, with the Freshman/JV winning 32-12 and the varsity, 35-17.

After the Thanksgiving break, Bandera's girls hosted Uvalde as the boys travelled to Uvalde.
All teams will be back in action this week as the Lady Bulldogs travel to Carrizo Springs and the boys will host the Wildcats here.
Girls
Eighth grade
A
After the girls worked hard for the first three days of last week learning an entirely new offense and defense, they went out and dominated the Lady Coyotes in the first half, but ultimately lost the game. 24-22.
In the last two minutes of the game, Uvalde was able to break past our press to tie the game and with 45 seconds left on the clock, they scored to go up by two points.
The Lady Bulldogs held on and attacked the basket drawing fouls but were unable to tie up the game with our free throws. It was an awesome display of teamwork and integrity by the Lady Bulldogs.
Sydney Moore with led Bandera with nine points, Jessie Battle, Abby Sizemore and Sydney Moore dominated the boards with six rebounds each and Cerrissa Fernandez and Presslee Greenley recorded three steals.
B
The B team lost to Uvalde by a score of 21-9 after a rough first half, trailing Uvalde by 10 points at the break.
They did bounce back in the second half playing much better offense and defense. Jordan Tucker was the leading scorer for Bandera and Maddie Garza had several steals that helped lead to fast break opportunities.
Seventh grade
A
After the Thanksgiving break, the Lady Bulldogs came out with a 28-21 win over Uvalde.
We are starting to learn to play as a team and playing our positions better.
Offensively we had six different scorers, and we are making good passes to find the open man down low and defensively, our press break was tough to get through, with great efforts from Kolbie Lawlis, Brylie Clark, Kaylee Fried and Pyper Barnard.

The "B" team lost to Uvalde by a 16-10 tally. The team played well the first half with great defensive efforts from Madison Frazee, Kara Melton, and Brylee Joseph but we lost our momentum in the third quarter.
The fourth quarter improved as we scored six points with great second chance points by Mia Ranly. This team has been progressively improving.
Boys
Eighth grade
A
The A team stepped up, looking to get a victory to go to 2-0 in district. In the first quarter, the Bulldogs had a fast start led by Dalton Parks that helped them take an early 13-5 lead. The boys continued playing great offensive and defensive play in the second and lead at the break, 24 to 11.
The third quarter saw Uvalde come out fighting, putting up 11 points to move to within five points going into the fourth.
Uvalde made a tough three pointer to take a two-point lead early on and with two minutes left, Caleb McKenzie made two crucial free throws to tie the game. Bandera stepped up their defensive game which led to a three-point shot to take the lead by Parks. Jonah Klein was fouled with five seconds left which put him at the free throw line where he made a basket to put the Bulldogs up by four and get the 33-29 win. to 29.

The B team started off strong, taking an early lead in the first quarter led by Nathan Sinclair while holding the Coyotes to just two points. In the second, Sinclair put up a few more points to help pad the Bandera lead but the Coyotes warmed up to tie it at half.
In the second half, the Coyotes started off strong extending their lead, but in the final quarter, Bandera fought back with Brody Culak scoring six points. Ultimately in the end, the Bulldogs fell just short of a comeback with a score of 23-20.

The Bulldogs got off to a sluggish start and couldn’t get a shot to fall for the most of the first quarter. After settling in, the Dogs found some offense led by Chris Martinez and Malachy King and they handled the pressure and offensive plays very well.
As the second quarter began, the Bulldogs found themselves in foul trouble. As expected, the next man up philosophy allowed the Dogs to stay in the game. Mack Pate found the bottom of the net with a couple of huge jump shots to cut the deficit to 15-13 at the half.
The second half was all Bulldogs! Landon Popham had three huge rebounds while Carter Hanks added four points on put backs. Garrett Sauers scored a jump shot to give the Dogs a four-point lead. Micah Toomire added a pull up jumper from the free throw line and also went 3-4 from the line, totaling five points. Pate added another four points in the second half stretching the lead to 10 points. King went 4-4 from the free throw line and ended the game with eight points. Martinez continued to attack the basket and added a layup and two free throws to end the game with a game high nine points.
Bandera took a 36-29 win to move to 1-1 for the season.
B
The B team has been working to improve their defensive game and kept the game close with stellar defense and rebounding early in the contest.
As the game went on the Dogs couldn’t find ways to break the press on offense and didn’t have many chances at the rim. Jax Miller scored a free throw the team's first point of the season!
This group is young and inexperienced but work very hard every day to get better and are learning to compete. Uvalde got the win, 17-1.
