Preliminary findings indicate an adult male, found deceased at a work site in Bandera, died of natural causes, though authorities are awaiting toxicology reports to make the final determination, the Bandera Marshal’s Office stated.
According to the BMO, an autopsy revealed there were no signs of internal or external trauma. The body was found by workers of ADB Companies the morning of April 18. An autopsy was performed April 19, and the man has been identified.
The Bandera Marshal's Office, Bandera County Sheriff's Office and Texas Rangers are conducting the joint investigation. A statement will be released once the report is received, which could take several weeks, Bandera Marshal Nancy De Foster said.
