Ridin’ the River Cowboy Fellowship celebrates National Day of the American Cowboy with rodeo

On Saturday, July 22, celebrate National Day of the American Cowboy with the Ridin’ the River Cowboy Fellowship.
A youth rodeo will begin at 9 a.m., in the RRCF arena. All kids are invited to participate in pole races, mutton bustin’, racing barrels and more. Lunch will be served at the Chuck Wagon.
The RRCF arena is at 5767 Hwy. 173 N, Bandera. Volunteers are needed to help with this event. Please call 830-777-7129.
Later, head to the Mansfield Park Arena for an evening rodeo. Gates open at 6:30 p.m.
Events include Ranch Bronc Riding, $75 per entry; Mutton Bustin’ for kids ages 8 and younger, 60-pound weight limit - this event is open only to 10 entries; Three-Man Mugging, $75 per man, buckles for the winners.
General admission is $10 for 13 years and over, $5 for 12 years and younger. For more information, go to https://ridintheriver.com/.
