After multiple weeks following a high-speed pursuit last month, Bandera County authorities have located and arrested a suspect in connection with several alleged crimes.
Caleb Leutzinger, of Bandera, was arrested and charged with Motion to Revoke Probation - Evading with a Vehicle; Terroristic Threat, Escape, and Evading Arrest.
Bandera County Chief Deputy Matt King said authorities engaged in pursuit of a truck reported stolen from Mike Barr, 74, of Bandera, on June 24, but lost track of it and the driver in Lake Medina Shores.
Authorities secured an arrest warrant for Leutzinger last week, and have been following tips while searching for him throughout Bandera County, including Holiday Villages in Medina County. King said Leutzinger attempted to evade arrest today, however he was apprehended at 1:22 p.m., in Lakehills, and booked into the Bandera County Jail.
“There will be additional charges that we will be seeking,” King said.
