Free Thanksgiving dinner planned in Lakehills

Preparations are underway for the 12th annual Community Thanksgiving Dinner, sponsored by the Hill Country Samaritans.
The traditional meal of turkey and trimmings will be accompanied by live music and homemade desserts. Always free, always delicious, and all are welcome.
Hosted at the Lakehills Community Center from noon to 2 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 23, dine-in is preferred, though limited take-out meals will be available. Volunteers are needed before, during and after the event.
