Bandera Electric Cooperative (BEC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Lynn Midgette as the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the cooperative. She brings a wealth of financial expertise and leadership experience to the role, and her appointment marks a significant milestone for BEC.
Midgette joins BEC with an impressive background in financial management, strategic planning, and a proven track record of success in the cooperative sector. Her comprehensive understanding of the energy industry, coupled with her commitment to cooperative principles, aligns seamlessly with BEC's mission to provide reliable and affordable electric service to its members.
"We are thrilled to welcome Lynn Midgette to the Bandera Electric Cooperative family," said BEC CEO Bill Hetherington. "Her extensive experience and dedication to the cooperative principles make her a valuable addition to our leadership team. We are confident that Lynn's strategic vision and financial acumen will contribute significantly to the continued success and growth of BEC."
Midgette succeeds Becky Bradburn, who served as BEC's CFO for three years. During her tenure, Bradburn played a pivotal role in steering the financial course of the cooperative, overseeing various initiatives that contributed to BEC's financial stability and growth. The Board of Directors and staff at BEC express their deepest gratitude to Bradburn for her dedicated service and wish her all the best in her future endeavors.
"We extend our heartfelt thanks to Becky Bradburn for her exceptional contributions as CFO. Becky's leadership and financial stewardship have been instrumental in shaping BEC's success over the years," Hetherington said. "We are grateful for her commitment and wish her continued success in her future endeavors."
Midgette assumed her role as CFO on Nov. 20, and the entire BEC community looks forward to working collaboratively under her guidance as the cooperative continues to fulfill its commitment to serving its members and fostering community prosperity.
