Leap into Lakehills library

Every Wednesday, at 10:30 a.m., Ms. Dianna reads to the pre-school kiddos, leading them in songs and crafts. However, due to the Christmas and New Year holidays, there will be no Storytime for the kiddos on the Wednesdays of Dec. 27 and Jan. 3.
The Board meets Wednesday, Dec. 13 at 4:30 p.m. The public is welcome.
In the Healthcare Marketplace, healthcare assistance will be offered on Wednesday, Dec. 13, from 10 a.m. to noon.
A Food Bank Representative will help with applying for benefits on Friday, Dec. 22, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The Smartphone Classes are Monday, Dec. 4 and Monday, Dec. 18, from 11 a.m. to noon.
The Evening Book Club will not meet in December, but will begin again on Tuesday, Jan. 16, at 5:30 p.m. They will discuss “Mad Honey” by Jodi Picoult.
The library will be closed Saturday, Dec. 23 through Tuesday, Dec. 26 for Christmas. They will also be closed Monday, Jan. 1 to celebrate the New Year.
There will be no December book sale. The sale will resume in January.
The Garden Club will meet on Saturday, Jan. 27, at 11 a.m.

Hours are Monday, Wednesday and Friday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Tuesday and Thursday, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
