City of Bandera seeks community input on economic development and goals

The City of Bandera is seeking input and the community’s participation after being awarded $1 million from the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Rural Economic Development Grant.
As part of the project’s Phase 1, a survey is available online, which “aims to gather valuable insights from residents, business owners, and stakeholders to identify key economic opportunities and challenges within the community. The collected data will inform the selection of a strategic economic development project, marking the first step towards fostering sustainable growth and enhancing the local economy,” the city’s website states.
The Rural Economic Development (RED) loan and grant programs provide grants and zero-interest loans for rural projects that will create and retain employment in rural areas.
“This initiative is critical to shaping a vibrant future for Bandera, ensuring the city's development aligns with the needs and objectives of its citizens,” the survey states, which asks questions about economic development, growth and goals.
To access the survey, go to the city’s website at https://www.banderatx.gov/, or directly to
