Hill Country Childcare Providers Conference set

The Hill Country Professional Child Care Providers Conference will be held at the Gillespie County Extension Office, 38 Business Ct, Fredericksburg, 78624, on Saturday, Sept. 7, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The sessions will cover such topics as Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS), Abusive Head Trauma (Shaken Baby Syndrome), Building Character Through Children’s Literacy, Disaster/Emergency Plan for Child Care Providers, Outdoor Play is More Than Recess, Weaknesses into Your Strengths, and Nutrition Guidelines.
The keynote speaker, Albert Wright, is a master trainer, author, and host of “2 minutes with Albert,” who has over 20 years in the child care industry. Albert is a much sought-after Master Trainer. He consults with businesses, schools, churches, and nonprofits to strengthen the relationships between children, educators, and administrators and parents.
Registration cost is $50 if postmarked by Aug. 16, and $75 if late. Five clock hours training credit is included in the fee.
